I remember my first time really coming into contact with the aboriginal culture was in elementary school. And a young boy brought in a 5 gallon bucket full of herring roe on seaweed and I was completely disgusted by it and I wouldn’t have anything to do with it. And even when he went on to tell us how big of a part of his culture it was, I still couldn’t do it. So a few years ago I had a chance to try some and I’ve grow up a bit since then, so I did. And it was really amazing, but go figure now that I’ve had it, I can never find it anymore.
